Lulo originates and grows on a bush on the slopes of the Andes. It is also known as ‘Naranjilla’ or ‘little orange’. A green fruit covered with a hairy fuzz, it looks like a green tomato inside, full of small white seeds. Its skin turns orange when ripe. It grows to 4-5 cm in diameter and weighs 80-100g.
